Dam Plate holds the line against a crowd: blows build up a head, and you loose it as a wave on the foes or let it ebb back as health. Dark bronze and steel laid like the stones of a weir. On two pieces part of every blow does not pass through but builds a head of water — the line over the hotbar shows how much; on three a full dam opens the spillway on its own and the foes around are thrown back. The plate is heavy: you walk slower in it.
Open the spillway at will. Crouch twice and a head of four or more runs ahead as a wave in a wedge seven blocks long: every foe in it takes four fifths of a damage for each point of the head, is thrown back and soaked. Backflow: a head that ebbs away by itself out of battle comes back as health — half a point for each. Loose it as a wave or heal with it — your choice.
The pieces are made by a Confluence over fluxsteel armor. Diviner's Spectacles are set into the Dam Helm on a crafting table — the helm then sees what Crucibles and devices hold. Next: "Visors".
