A Druse Vat grows shards from distillate — no caves, no pickaxe. It is a vat of blown glass. Lay a block of shards on its bottom as the pattern. A siphon above fills it with distillate, and a druse grows on the pattern — shards of its current. Eight parts of the pattern's current and a little of the land's flux make one shard; on drained land the vat waits.

The vat takes a compound current too, if the pattern's current is in it: it splits it along the Wheel like a separator — the pattern's share stays, the rest goes to murk. Growing from a pure primal current is cheaper. Take the grown shards with an empty hand or a hopper below; sneak with an empty hand to take the pattern back.
