The Prior heads the Order in the City of Midstep; defeating him gives the Prior's Seal and a Hubstone of three or four spokes. He kneels before the Still Gate with wax on his lips. Come up to the gate and the Order steps out of it in waves, and last of all, him. When he raises his hand bell, his people freeze into statues: strike him while he rings.
