Decor
The Decor tab: sixteen pieces of living decor and the vial drop, statues, stained glass, the Wheel Rose Window and 3 × 3 pictures, planters, light, stone and wood, boats, the patina of Speculum-Clad Lumenash.
Everything placed for the look lies in its own creative tab — Decor: living decor, light, statues, stone and masonry, wood and boats, glass and stained glass, planters, small things. Decor is cheap — it's placed by the dozen. Functional things that are also pretty (Orbs, totems, altar fittings) lie with their system in the main tab of the mod. All of them — in the Items → Decor reference.

Living decor
Sixteen things that don't just stand but live: they glow from within, move, breathe flux. Made on a Flux Workbench for a little flux;
Codex entries —
Living Decor: Lamps,
Living Decor: Curios,
Living Decor: Yard and Garden.
| Thing | What lives in it | Light |
|---|---|---|
| a ball of glowing threads winds itself between the spindle's discs; stands or hangs | 14 | |
| a flame in the current's color that sets nothing on fire | 13 | |
| a glint let out of its bottle flutters inside; a bottle takes it back | 12 with a glint | |
| a dome of light with tentacles pulsing in the air and under water — a lamp for a pond | 10 | |
| a pendulum under the ceiling, its swing plane slowly turning | 9 | |
| glowing drops run down the threads; you walk through, blocks under each other make one curtain | 5 | |
| the Springs' beads go round the axis along the Wheel, the Poles move up and down | 7 | |
| grains of flux pour for a minute, the glass turns itself over | 6 | |
| a spinning opaline throws four Spring reflections onto the walls around | 7 | |
| pages turn by themselves, lines glow in the current's ink | 6 | |
| a tiny whirlwind of a current in a jar for the shelf | 6 | |
| three pebbles with burning signs float over a slab | 7 | |
| four arcs of a current spring from the spout into the bowl | 9 | |
| five opaline shards sway and flash their play of color, now and then they ring | 4 | |
| a pennant with an embroidered rune waves on the wall | 3 | |
| an arrow with a sail of Gale turns with the wind — a village's vanes look the same way | — |
Color — by a vial drop. Most things have a default current; a click with a distillate vial recolors the thing into any of the 42 currents (the vial loses a share). A broken thing drops with its current. On low "Mod graphics" the moving parts and the main light remain.
Statues
A two-story block on a Flowstone plinth that stands facing you; each has its own stone and one glowing mark. Made on the game's
crafting table; Codex entry —
Statues, Stained Glass and Planters.
Fluxionist Statue,
Reckoner Statue,
Wheel Statue,
Glint Statue.
Snagling Elder Statue,
Tollkeeper Statue,
Statue of the Sunken,
Statue of the Still.
Stained glass and picture windows
- Six stained glasses of the primal currents and their panes: lead cames, panes in the current's tones, a seamless pattern — a wall of stained glass reads as one window. Now and then a medallion with the current's rune appears. Eight glass and a shard → 8.
Wheel Rose Window — one picture for a 3 × 3 window: the Wheel of Currents in warm leaded glass. Place nine
blocks in a square in a wall; an incomplete square is plain rose glass, break a block — the picture falls apart, put it back — it
shows again. At night it glows from within but doesn't light the room.
Stillness Clock Window and
Snagling Catch Window — two more 3 × 3 pictures with the same rules.- Only in a wall; pictures have no panes.
Planters
One planter for all single cross-shaped plants: flowers, saplings, mushrooms of the game and the mod. A glowing plant glows in a
planter too, an empty hand takes the plant.
Flowstone Planter,
Willow Planter,
Speculum Planter,
Opaline Planter.
Light, stone and wood
- Light: the
Opaline Lamp and the
Shard Lantern (brightness — by the chunk's flux), the
Firefly Lantern and Float Lanterns, the lamps of the biomes. - Stone and masonry: Flowstone and Flowstone Bricks,
Carved Opaline and opaline bricks, Reckoner stone,
Still stone, biome rocks — each with a family (bricks, carved and polished block, slabs, stairs, walls, pillar). - Wood: willow (with
Carved Willow and
Iron-Bound Willow), lumenash, Mirebound Planks and the
biome trees — every wood has its set of planks and a boat with a chest boat: game boats with the Drift sign carved on the bow. - Patina:
Speculum-Clad Lumenash darkens over time in four stages, like copper; honeycomb stops it, an axe
scrapes wax or a stage, lightning cleans it.
What next
- Addition devices — the Shard Lantern, Opaline Lamp and the mire things.
- Biome Converter — grown places with their own trees and planks.
- Items → Decor — every thing of the tab.
