Installation
What you need to play: Minecraft 26.3 (Java 25) or 1.21.1 (Java 21), Fabric or NeoForge, GeckoLib and TerraBlender.
Fluxion runs on Minecraft 26.3 and 1.21.1, each on Fabric and on NeoForge — four files with the same content: pick the one for your game version and loader. The versions below come from the mod's build.

How to install
- Install the loader for your Minecraft version.
- Put the mod file for your game version and loader into the
modsfolder together with GeckoLib and TerraBlender (on Fabric, also Fabric API). The file name says both:…-fabric-1.21.1-….jar,…-neoforge-26.3-….jar. Take the libraries for the same version and loader: a NeoForge file will not start on Fabric, a 26.3 file will not start on 1.21.1, and the other way round. A world cannot move between 26.3 and 1.21.1. - Start the game. If something is missing, the loader names the mod and the version it needs.
Minecraft 1.21.1
Minecraft 1.21.1 lacks some things from newer versions of the game that Fluxion relies on, so the mod adds them there itself, with the same names and the same use: pale oak and poplar (logs, planks, doors, trapdoors, leaves, saplings — the poplar grows in autumn yellow, orange or red), short and tall dry grass, the pale moss block, pale moss carpet and pale hanging moss, the copper nugget, copper tools, copper armor and copper horse armor. In survival you find them where the newer versions put them: poplars grow in the Dappled Forest, pale oak with pale and hanging moss in the Pale Garden (on 1.21.1 Fluxion adds these two biomes, and they generate where they do in 26.3: the Dappled Forest on cool dry plains, the Pale Garden on humid dark forest plateaus), dry grass in deserts and badlands, copper horse armor lies in the chests of dungeons, temples, fortresses, End cities and village weaponsmiths, and the wandering trader sells the saplings, logs, moss and dry grass. They also grow from bone meal, appear in the mod's structures and places, and are crafted and smelted as in the newer versions; you find them in the Fluxion tabs. In Minecraft 26.3 the mod has none of these — the game's own things are used there.
On 1.21.1 Fluxion also works with mods that have no 26.3 builds: the Create branch (NeoForge), EMI, WTHIT, Accessories and Embeddium — see Compatibility.
Why GeckoLib and TerraBlender
- GeckoLib draws the mod's living models: creatures, devices, the Crucible and Confluence.
- TerraBlender places the mod's biomes into the Overworld next to the biomes of the game and other mods.
