Pages of the entry
A whole Hubstone in the Conduit's socket becomes the hub of a wheel with four lenses on the rim, one per Spring. In the Wheel mode the lenses strike at once: the carrier of the Tide lens, the actions of all four (the same action one step higher), three quarters of the pressure each. It costs three quarters of the sum and rests half again as long as the slowest lens.
Opposite Springs clash at the target without murk: Scorch with Chill as blinding steam, Gust with Crack as rubble that throws foes up and cracks soft blocks. The Pole spokes in the hub hold them in check, as Lattice holds the threads of a skein. The mode — the Wheel or one lens of its socket — is picked on the lens wheel: hold …; sneak and right-click for the next mode.
The Wheel needs a Great Lens Blank: a Lens Blank grown by strong Confluence — a Hubstone gives it its Lattice spoke, opaline grows the glass, stillmetal rings it. Thirty-six facets, up to three carriers in a conjunction and four actions; its lenses leave no murk, and their cooldown grows half as fast. It is cut at the same Lens Grinder.
